I usually don't play too much introducing elements in my photos, but this time I've added that bright light at the top left with gimp (hope you don't mind). Why? Today I'm inspired by this couple, what can I say! :)

Once upon a time...
I'm not sure why (light? colors? water?), but images of this kind seem to be taken from a fantasy book. Don't you agree?

Can you see it?
Here, Bahía Blanca, today is a special winter day? Why? We have snow!!! (last time was on may 2007!). If you want to see typical snapshots about it, click here (photos sent by people to our local newspaper). As you can see I wanted to share a different perspective of the event. Can you see an animal? If so first one commenting about it will confirm I'm not (that) crazy and win something... err.... let me think... ok, a photo dedicated to you (portrait, landscape, B&W, etc., you choose!) posted on my blog.

Parrot portrait
Well, once again I'm not sure what bird you are looking at... Let's say it's some kind of parrot until someone adds some "light" in the Comments section. Where? A zoo of course! :)

Stormy weather and Faith
Stormy, but there is always space for a bit of Faith.
Another photo I had around, again gimp processed. Some people wanted to know a bit more about gimp, here you have the documentation (in various languagues).

Countryside Sunset
Okay, I admit it, perhaps I should have cloned/cropped out the burning sun at the top right of this old photo... but I think it works better this way, or at least I know i don't have the time to do a better job! :)

All but one
,
This is a "Cardo Silvestre" (Bull Thistle) next to the Limay River, a few meters away from the Anfiteatro. I took this photo in January 2009, almost a year after I took the first shot I uploaded here... If you want to see/remember that HDR Anfiteatro shot click here.
As you can see here someone took one of these flowers, so this is all but one.

Saying goodbye to Michael Jackson
His death is sincerely a tragedy, I (and millions more) were really sad this whole week (and we will have to deal with the grief from the loss for a loooooong time). There is no doubt, even with his passing, that Michael Jackson will continue to be the "King of Pop" for future performers for decades to come. He is an irreplaceable and remarkable musical artist, his videos, clothes, style, dance and singing shaped our generation.
I end my homage the same way I've started it a week ago:
R.I.P. MICHAEL JACKSON, the world will never forget your legacy.
“Tears are the silent language of grief.”
